This resource is useful for teachers, students, and even historians. The website aims to improve the education of History, and it operates in all fifty states (The Institution) with the website featuring over 60,000 historical documents. If you click in as a student, programs and events such as contest essays that highlight many schools participants over Historical events. This source even provides self-paced courses at the graduate-level which a person can obtain professional developmental credit. The courses range from African American History to World War 2.
For teachers, the website offers a teacher seminar schedule and traveling exhibitions where one can experience Americans History through panel exhibitions at schools, libraries, and other sites in the U.S.
     Students can find this resource helpful for study tips and SAT/ACT preparation as well. Students can chose from an array of time periods to sharpen their skills on. Both students and teachers can nominate the National History Teacher of the Year award.
    The Institution also paired up with the Rockefeller Foundation and allows students in Atlanta, Chicago, L.A., Miami, Nashville, NY, Norfolk, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and St. Louis to watch the play Hamilton for just a $10 fee (Hamilton Education Program).
     Teachers and students should use this website for Education beyond the classroom. The site offers teacher seminars, classroom resources, documents, Test Prep, and has many other links attached with the purpose of educating past the classroom (exhibitions, essay contests, seminars,  online classes, online discussion, etc.).
